A solid early 20th century chest of drawers with warm, rich golden tone. The chest has two short drawers over three full width drawers, each with flat drawer fronts and later brass swan-neck handles. The oak shows pronounced grain to the sides and drawer fronts. The top has a simple moulded edge, and the chest stands on shaped bracket feet with a shallow apron to front and sides.

Very heavy and robust. The surface shows small marks, light colour variations, and wear consistent with age and use. Handles are later replacements. Drawers run well, and the piece is structurally solid and sound. There is notable wear to the finish on the top, particularly visible in certain lights, likely from old watermarks that have affected the surface. Overall, in good antique condition.
