A lovely antique 19th century pine trunk. The pine trunk has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a neat interior with a candle box. There are exposed dovetail joints to the corners, and brass drop handles to the sides for carrying. Raised on a plinth base. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

In good antique condition overall, with typical signs of age. Surface wear is present throughout, including age-related marks and scratches. There is a historic repair to the interior of the trunk, along with splitting to the top. One corner shows some loss, and there is staining visible on the front of the trunk—all consistent with its age and use.

Our experienced carpenter thoroughly inspects, repairs, and restores each item in our collection to ensure it is fully prepared for use in your home.
