An elegant 19th century oak coffer chest on stand, featuring a rectangular top that unlocks to reveal a spacious interior. Beneath the chest are two short drawers, each fitted with brass drop handles. Raised on sturdy square legs, the piece is practical and well-proportioned.

In good antique condition throughout, showing authentic signs of age and use. The surface displays marks and scratches consistent with its period character. The inside of the chest is lined with old wallpaper, which is partially peeled. There is some splitting and minor loss to the top, as well as loss to the edges. The lock and key are in working order. The chest comes apart in two sections for ease of transport.
