A lovely antique 19th-century oak bureau. The bureau features a fall front that opens to reveal a fitted interior with a writing surface, six pigeonholes, six small drawers of varying sizes, and a central cupboard with a small drawer above. Below are four graduated long drawers, each fitted with brass drop handles. The piece is raised on shaped bracket feet and displays the rich colour and grain of well-aged oak. A practical and attractive writing piece with classic 19th-century character.
