An unusual antique 19th-century mahogany writing desk. The mahogany writing desk has a sloped top with a carved gallery back flanked by two drawers either side with wooden knobs. Below the sloped top are two drawers with decorative knobs. Raised on turned supports.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the top, sides and legs. The legs have been extended to make more leg room (pictured). The unusual antique 19th century mahogany writing desk is structurally sound and solid. Overall, a wonderful example of its kind
