An attractive 19th-century mahogany pedestal desk. The desk features a rectangular top inset with a leather writing surface and three frieze drawers beneath. It is supported by twin pedestals flanking the central kneehole, with a total of six graduating drawers, all fitted with wooden knobs. The desk is raised on a plinth base with castors, combining practicality with timeless elegance.

In good antique condition overall, with signs of age and use consistent with its history. The desk shows surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. There is evidence of a historical repair to one corner, as well as fading. Veneer loss is visible at the back, along with staining and fading on the surface top.
