A well-proportioned 19th century mahogany bow front chest of drawers, arranged as two short over three long graduated drawers, each retaining their original circular brass handles. The piece stands on shaped bracket feet with a neatly cut apron, offering both elegance and stability. The mahogany displays a warm tone, consistent colour, and a pleasing patina throughout. Solid and functional, with generous drawer depth and classic period styling, this is a fine example of 19th century craftsmanship.

In good antique condition overall, showing typical signs of age and use. The chest has surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. There is evidence of historic woodworm to the bottom drawer, long since inactive and treated as a precaution. Splitting is visible to the back corners of the drawers, the top, and the sides, along with some loss to the back. Despite these age-related characteristics, the piece remains solid, functional, and full of character.
