Antique 19th Century Folding Dining Set

A rustic 19th century antique folding dining set. The antique dining set has a rectangular shaped gateleg table, with a drop leaf to either side, creating a circle surface top when extended. The base consists of trestle ends with a central support, with two hinged legs to support the table when extended. The dining set has four rustic folding chairs, with slatted seats and an open backrest. Raised on straight square supports. A particularly good antique dining set that folds neatly for storage.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and stains to the table top (pictured) and further marks, scratches and splits to the seats (pictured). There is also rusting to the nails on the chairs (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm to the underside of the table, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique dining set remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a very rustic dining set.
