Antique 18th Century Mahogany Chest of Drawers

A lovely antique 18th century mahogany chest of drawers. The chest of drawers has a canted cornice top with cross banding and herringbone inlay. Below is  an arrangement of two short over three long graduating drawers. The edges of the chest of drawers are beautifully reeded with neat floral carvings. Raised on ogee supports.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks throughout. There is some splitting to the top (pictured) as well as some historic woodworm to the back (pictured) which is now long gone and has been treated as a precaution. A great example of an antique 18th century mahogany chest of drawers.
