In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top, front, and sides (pictured). The six plank coffer remains structurally solid and sound. The hinges appear to be later (still period) replacements. There is evidence of old historic woodworm, however, this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The lid is slightly warped and doesn’t close flush. Overall, the six plank coffer is in good condition and is a good example of its kind.
