Antique 19th Century Oak Chest of Drawers

A handsome 19th century oak chest of drawers, of substantial proportions. The chest is fitted with an arrangement of two short drawers over three long graduating drawers, each retaining turned wooden knob handles and key escutcheons. The drawer fronts display an attractive grain throughout. The chest is raised on shaped bracket feet and features rounded front corner mouldings, giving the piece a refined yet solid appearance.

In good antique condition with signs of age and use throughout. Surface wear, marks, scratches, and small areas of historic staining to the top as shown. General age-related wear to the finish and historic shrinkage to the planks of the top and side, however this does not affect the practicality or appeal of the piece. Overall a solid and sound chest of drawers with all drawers running well.
