A beautifully figured Victorian mahogany chest of drawers, fitted with an arrangement of two short drawers over four long graduating drawers, the lower drawer of deep proportions. The drawer fronts display striking flame mahogany figuring throughout. The chest retains its original turned wooden knob handles and stands on bun feet, with rounded front corners adding to the soft, elegant appearance of the piece. The mahogany displays a particularly rich and warm colour throughout, giving the chest excellent depth and presence.
