A fine antique 18th-century walnut chest of drawers, showcasing beautifully figured timber and classic period craftsmanship. The chest features a moulded top above an arrangement of three short over three long graduating drawers, all adorned with decorative brass swan-neck handles and shaped escutcheons.

The rich walnut veneers display good colour and grain throughout, complemented by attractive crossbanding to the drawer fronts. Raised on shaped bracket feet, the chest possesses elegant proportions along with a warm, characterful appearance that has developed beautifully over time.
