In good antique condition overall, showing expected signs of age and use. There is surface wear throughout, including age-related marks and scratches. Staining is present to the surface and under-tier shelf, however, this does not affect the structural integrity of the piece. There is evidence of minor historic woodworm to the rack (as pictured). This is long inactive and has been treated as a precautionary measure. There is also staining to the potboard, which reflects the working history of the piece and does not detract from its overall appeal.
