A delightful vintage walnut writing desk in the George II style. The desk features an olive-green leather inset top with elegant gold gilding. It includes four fitted drawers, each with brass drop handles, and comes complete with a working lock and key. The piece stands on cabriole legs with classic pad feet.

Overall in good antique condition, with some characterful signs of age. There is surface wear, including age-related marks and scratches throughout. The top has some areas of fading, staining, and scratching (as pictured). There is a missing knot on one side and some minor splitting (both pictured), but these do not affect the desk’s structural integrity. A charming piece.
