Early 20th Century Oak Pedestal Desk

An attractive 20th century antique mahogany pedestal desk, in the Georgian style. The antique pedestal desk has a rectangular top with a leather inset writing surface to the centre and three frieze drawers below with working locks and key. The antique pedestal desk top is raised on twin pedestals either side of the kneehole, forming an arrangement of six drawers, each with brass drop handles and detailed escutcheon. The bottom left drawer has dividers, great for organisation.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the front, sides and front. There is some staining to the surface top, however this does not affect the overall integrity of the piece. A lovely example of an early 20th Century oak pedestal desk.
