In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and fading to the seat, arms and backrest (pictured). There is also a minor split to the back of the seat and slight losses to the front (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the armchair. There are further marks and scratches to the legs (pictured). There is also evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique smokers bow armchair remains structurally solid and sound, with good tight joints. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax and polish. Overall, a brilliant example of its kind.
