19th Century Antique Oak Tilt Top Table

A well presented 19th century antique oak tilt top table. The antique oak table has a circular shaped four plank top, which is raised on a turned pedestal with a tripod base. The top can be tilted upright for storage purposes. A rather neat example, full of authentic charm.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, fading, shrinkage and splits to the top (pictured). There are further marks and scratches to the base (pictured), an honest repair to one of the legs and minor losses to another (pictured). The table top has slight movement when fixed down, however the antique oak tilt top table remains structurally solid and sound. There is also evidence of historic woodworm to the base (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Overall, a good example of its kind.
