An attractive and well-proportioned 19th century antique carved oak coffer. The antique coffer has a hinged lid (retaining its original iron hinges) that opens to reveal a spacious interior. The antique coffer has intricate carved detail throughout its design. Raised on block feet.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks to the plinth (pictured), and chips to the lid edges (pictured). The antique carved oak coffer remains structurally solid and sound. There is evidence of historic woodworm to the base, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Overall, a good example.
