1969 Prince Charles Investiture Armchair

An iconic 1969 HRH Prince Charles of Wales investiture armchair. The vintage armchair was designed by 1st Earl of Snowdon and manufactured by Remploy, where a total of 4,600 copies were made in Bridgend, South Wales. The armchair has a red stained beech frame, with the symbolic Prince of Wales’ feathers and motto ‘Ich Dien’ to the backrest, and a Welsh red tweed cushioned seat. The vintage armchair was produced for the 1969 Investiture of HRH Prince Charles of Wales, at Caernarfon Castle, North Wales.
