A charming 18th century antique oak settle. The antique settle has a tall panelled backrest, with shaped open arms and a solid oak seat. Raised on square shaped upright supports, united by a straight stretcher to the front. A well proportioned settle, with rich colour and patina throughout.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, fading and dents to the seat, front and armrests (pictured). The backrest also has age-related fading, scratches, marks and splits (pictured). There is minor evidence of historic woodworm (pictured), however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak settle remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a rather charming example of antique seating.
