In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, dents and shrinkage to the top, front and sides (pictured). There is a patch repair (pictured) to the front of the chest, also a split to the left side (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak mule chest remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example.
