A small and charming 17th century antique oak coffer or chest. The antique oak coffer is of six plank construction with a hinged lid and carved front. The hinged lid opens to reveal a neat and small storage space. The antique oak coffer is raised on four shaped feet. A rather pleasing example, with wonderful grain and rich colour throughout. Please note, this is of small proportions, so please check measurements before purchasing.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, minor scratches and minor dents throughout the back, sides and front. There is also wood wearing down to the front of the lid but this is to be expected with its age and doesn’t affect the overall integrity of the product whatsoever. There are also signs of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has since been fully treated as a precaution.
