In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, dents and stains throughout the item including the surface top, drawer fronts and sides (pictured). There is shrinkage to the top, also a split to the back of the surface (pictured). There are also a few small repairs around the legs (pictured), however this doesn’t affect the integrity of the item. There is evidence of historical woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak chest of drawers remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a great example of 17th century antique furniture.
