An intriguing 18th century oak settle. The large panelled back runs to the base and sits above a solid oak seat. Also, the shaped arms are raised on turned supports. The base consists of turned legs to the front, having straight stretcher supports.

In well-worn antique condition throughout with various signs of age. There is surface wear in places, including historic shrinkage gaps to the seat. A repair has been made to both arms. Some minor losses throughout. Evidence of old historic treated woodworm. There are metal repairs to the rear left of the base and the base of the right arm. Structurally solid and sound with a charming age-related patina. Well-worn with plenty of character.
