An attractive antique Georgian inlaid mahogany writing bureau with fall front having inlay detail, revealing a charming, fitted interior consisting of various drawers and secret compartments along with a leather inset writing surface, the fall front supported by two pull out arms. Below the fall front is an arrangement of two short over two long graduating drawers each with Georgian style brass handles and decorative inlay to the drawer fronts, raised on ogee bracket feet. Complete with working lock and key for the fall front.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. General surface wear throughout with some age-related marks and wear to the top, fall front, and drawer fronts. A small split is developing to the left-hand side of the fall front. Structurally solid and sturdy. All the bracket feet remain intact. An attractive Georgian bureau in good antique condition. The fitted interior is most pleasing. Working lock and key for the fall front – no key for the drawers.
