Edwardian Mahogany Cylinder Desk or Bureau

An antique Edwardian mahogany cylinder desk or bureau. The cylinder desk has a D shaped cylindrical top that opens to reveal a fitted interior and a pull out red leather writing surface. The desk has two small fitted drawers, each with brass handles. The cylinder desk is raised on square tapering legs with castors. The desk has beautiful inlaid detail throughout. A good example.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and minor scratches to the top and front (pictured). The lock plate has been removed at some point in time. The leather writing surface remains in good condition with no major rips or tears. Overall, a good, neat example.
