Early 20th Century Carved Oak Bureau
An unusual and intriguing early 20th century carved oak bureau. Throughout the top is carved floral detail. The carved front opens to reveal several arched pigeonholes and drawers, each with brass teardrop handles on floral backplates. Also, to the centre is a large cupboard door with further floral carved detail. Under this are two carved drawers, both with brass handles and also flanked by pull-out leaves. These pull-out in order to support the hinged writing surface. Raised on four turned legs with tulip-shaped feet and stretcher supports. Certainly an eye-catching oak bureau.
