Early 19th Century Welsh Oak Cupboard
An attractive early 19th century antique Welsh oak cupboard. The Welsh oak cupboard has a moulded cornice and two blind panelled cupboard doors. The cupboard doors open to reveal a spacious interior with a wooden hanging rail to the top with wooden hanging pegs. The base consists of two dummy drawers which allow extra hanging space in the top section. There is an arrangement of two short over one long drawer, each with turned wooden knobs. The Welsh oak cupboard has panelled sides and is raised on bracket feet. The cupboard separates into two parts at the mid-section for ease of transport and movement. Good colour and patina throughout – a rather lovely example.
