A large and impressive antique Georgian oak mule chest or blanket box. The oak mule chest has a hinged lid with three moulded panels that opens to reveal a spacious interior. The mule chest has a decorative three panel front with two large fitted drawers to the base, each with Georgian design brass handles. Raised on bracket feet. The Georgian oak mule chest has an attractive rich colour and patina throughout. Please note, this is a particularly large example so please double check the measurements before making a purchase.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top, front and sides (pictured). The antique oak mule chest remains structurally solid and sound. The hinges are later replacements. Overall, a rather good example. Please note, this is a particularly large example so please double check the measurements before making a purchase.
