A well-proportioned vintage oak monk’s bench or hall settle with under seat storage. The oak monk’s bench has a rectangular shaped back rest that flips over to rest on the arms to create a useful table top. The arms are carved into lion figures. The monk’s bench has a hinged seat that opens to reveal a spacious interior. The oak monk’s bench has decorative carved detail throughout.

In good vintage condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and wear to the top (pictured). The oak monk’s bench remains structurally solid and sound. There are some marks to the arms and seat, but overall, the oak monk’s bench generally remains in good vintage condition. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home! We ask that you take the time to look at all the photos as they form part of the description and condition report of the item.

- You will receive advance notice of a day and time for delivery within approximately 10 working days, and delivery can take up to 15 working days from order date.

- We use a single-person delivery service. Please ensure that you are available and able to assist with unloading upon delivery of your item/s.
