An intriguing Victorian antique oak carved desk. The antique oak desk has a gallery back, with seven pigeonhole compartments, and a tiered shelf above a black painted writing surface. The antique oak desk has an arrangement of five fitted drawers, each with teardrop handles and beautifully carved detail. The Victorian desk is raised on barley twist legs and supports. A rather aesthetically pleasing antique desk.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and scratches to the tiered shelf (pictured), further stains to the writing surface (pictured). There is age-related fading to the barley twist supports and drawer fronts (pictured). The antique oak desk remains structurally solid and sound, with the drawers running well. Overall, a good example of Victorian carved furniture.
