A good set of six 19th century antique oak farmhouse chairs. The country made oak chairs each have bar and bobbin backs and hard oak plank seats. The chairs are raised on four square legs with straight stretcher supports.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches, and staining to the seats (pictured). There are some splits to the oak plank seats but the chairs all remain structurally solid and sound. Evidence of old historic wood worm in places – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Overall, a rather good set of six antique oak farmhouse chairs.
