A large and unusual rustic antique pine mule chest or blanket box. The antique pine mule chest has a hinged plank lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior. The chest has two fitted drawers to the base, each fitted with recessed brass handles or pulls. Raised on bracket feet. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax. Rustic throughout.

In rustic antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear throughout including age-related marks, scratches and staining to the top, front, and sides (pictured). There are shrinkage gaps to the plank top (pictured). Evidence of old historic woodworm throughout - this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique pine mule chest remains structurally solid and sound. A good rustic example with plenty of charm and character. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home! We ask that you take the time to look at all the photos as they form part of the description and condition report of the item.
