A large and rustic antique pine trunk or blanket box. The antique pine trunk has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior. The antique pine trunk has brass drop handles to either side and is raised on a plinth base. A particularly large sized trunk, with plenty of rustic charm. Ideal for use as a coffee table and storage. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and splits to the top and front (pictured). There is evidence of historic woodworm, however this is now long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique pine trunk remains structurally solid and sound. Overall, a good example of its kind. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home! We ask that you take the time to look at all the photos as they form part of the description and condition report of the item.
