An unusual 19th century antique oak washstand. The antique oak washstand has a three quarter gallery with shaped sides. There is a circular cut out for a washstand bowl and jug. The washstand is raised on decorative turned legs. There is an under-tier shelf and single fitted drawer to the mid section. An attractive example.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks, scratches and staining to surface top (pictured). There is evidence of old historic woodworm in places - this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique oak washstand remains structurally solid and sound with the drawer running well. A good example with an undeniable charm. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home! We ask that you take the time to look at all the photos as they form part of the description and condition report of the item.
