A beautiful late antique Welsh oak two stage glazed bookcase. To the top is moulded cornice, which sits above two glazed doors. These open using the wooden knobs to reveal a wall-papered interior with two fitted shelves. The base has an arrangement of three short drawers over two cupboard doors, each with wooden knobs. The drawers have raised moulded panels. The panelled cupboard doors open by turning the knob and reveal a single fitted shelf with further storage space. Raised on a shaped plinth base. Also, both stages have attractively panelled sides.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some minor marks and wear to the top and doors (pictured). There is staining to the cupboard fronts (pictured). The drawers run smoothly though there are some shrinkage gaps. Evidence of historical treated woodworm to the interior bottom shelf. Minor evidence of further treated woodworm to cupboard top. The back left cornice has been cut to accommodate room layout (pictured). Glass has two small scratches but remains intact. Evidence of staining on the wallpaper interior. Treated historic woodworm to top of glazed section.
