An attractive 19th century antique clerk’s desk in mahogany. The sloped top is hinged and opens to reveal to fitted interior with various drawers and pigeonholes. The antique clerk’s desk is raised on four square legs with straight stretcher supports.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top and sloped surfaces (pictured). There is a split to the slope but this does not affect the integrity of the desk. Evidence of old historic woodworm in places – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. The antique clerk’s desk remains structurally solid and sound. Good, rich colour and patina throughout. Overall, a neat example.
