Antique 19th Century Welsh Oak Pembroke Table

A charming antique 19th century Welsh oak Pembroke table. The Pembroke table has an oak plank top with a drop leaf to either side. The drop leaves are supported by two pull out arms to the underside of the table. There is a single fitted drawer to one end with a wooden knob, and a dummy drawer to the other end. The Welsh oak Pembroke table is raised on four turned legs. Good colour and patina throughout. Origin – West Wales.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top (pictured). There is evidence of old historic wood worm to the under side of the table (mainly to the pull out supports) – this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution (pictured). The Welsh oak Pembroke table remains structurally solid and sound. A good honest example.
