19th Century Mahogany and Boxwood Fold Over Table

A particularly attractive antique 19th century mahogany and boxwood fold over table or tea table. The fold over table has a rectangular shaped top with rounded corners and reeded edge. The two back legs swing open to support the fold over top. The table is raised on four fluted legs with turned detail at the tops. The table has decorative boxwood cross banding and a wonderful colour and patina throughout.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including some age related marks, scratching and staining to the top (pictured). The table remains structurally solid and sound with the fold over mechanism working well. There are some losses to one of the back legs (pictured), fortunately this is at the back and not easily noticeable. Overall a particularly elegant looking antique mahogany fold over table. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home!
