A wonderful, small 17th century antique Welsh oak box. The Welsh oak box has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a neat interior. To the front there is decorative pin carved detail. A rather wonderful piece with plenty of character and charm.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top and front (pictured). The hinges appear original. The Welsh oak box remains structurally intact although there are two small holes to the back corners of the base. A rather charming piece of early Welsh furniture. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, and restores our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is ready for your home! We ask that you take the time to look at all the photos as they form part of the description and condition report of the item.
