A 19th century antique carved oak bible box. The antique oak bible box has a hinged lid that opens to reveal a spacious interior. The bible box has decorative carved detail throughout. Finished with a fresh coat of natural wax.

In good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. There is surface wear in places including age-related marks and staining to the top surface (pictured). There is evidence of old historic woodworm in places, though this is long gone and has been fully treated as a precaution. Structurally solid and sound.
