Early 19th Century Welsh Oak Cupboard

A spectacular early 19th century Welsh oak two stage press cupboard. The top opens to reveal two fitted shelves on two short drawers. The bottom part of the Welsh oak cupboard has three long drawers, standing on bracket feet. There is exquisite inlay detail to the top front of the cupboard, making it a special piece and a very good example of its kind. It’s colour and patina also add to the charm of the piece, with a very nice finish. The Welsh oak cupboard separates into two pieces for ease of transport and movement.

In very good antique condition throughout with some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear in places, and some minor losses to the drawer edges. This does not affect the functionality of the drawers or the look and feel of the piece. There are later replacement handles, however, remain in theme with the piece. Overall, a rather lovely example of an antique Welsh oak cupboard.
